Prompt: Hostile to the audience

This was the first project in a series of assignments for my class. The prompt was to make something, anything, that is hostile to the audience. Some wrote short stories, some created hazardous sculptures with lots of sharp pointy things. Since games are my medium of choice that's what I chose to make. I started with the idea of a text-based zork-like game, but with with a somewhat hostile tone towards the player. I had actually built a different game with a very similar concept for a horror-themed game jam a year or so ago, but that was built in Unreal Engine 5 and couldn't be run in the browser. This game, like all the others in this series, was made in Godot in Compatability mode to ensure it could run well in any browser. The game is short and simple, certainly missing some common sense action verbs in the recognized vocabulary, but I believe it gets the point across.
