When I first started programming I was sure that I didn't want to get into making games or anything like that. I wanted to be professional and
boring, making cybersecurity tools and other "useful" things like that. Then at some point I realized that actually all I want to do in the whole
wide world is make video games. Then I started taking art and creative writing classes in college and realized that I don't JUST want to make video
games. I want to make all kinds of interactive art and media. Hence why I decided to name this little project "Comorbid Interactive" instead of just "Comorbid Games"
or "Comorbid Softworks" or something.
The name "Comorbid" came to mind the very first time I heard the word. It was the day I was diagnosed with comorbid depression and ADHD. I think I was 25 at the time, still serving in the army and seeing a first lieutenant as my therapist. I distinctly remember hearing it at an appointment, looking out the window at the cars in the parking lot, and thinking "Comorbid would make a sick name for a game studio."
